THUMBNAILS & PROCESS

Jumbles Reservoir, Bradshaw Brook, North West England - 10/4/2021

Kay Brow Lodge, Ramsbottom - 21/4/2021

River Irwell, Nuttal Park, Ramsbottom - 21/4/2021

What I did:

I looked at Matthew Brandt's project on lakes and reservoirs where he pictured different lakes and reservoirs then submerged them into their water. He left them for days, weeks or months and the final pictures became distorted.

I liked this idea as I saw it representing the process of pollution damaging the environment. I took my own approach to the project by visiting different places that contain different types of water. I visited a lodge, a reservoir and a river. I also used different types of photo paper to see if they produced different results. I used glossy, pearl and matte photo paper.
